I thought these would be perfect for Easter and fun for all the kids. It was my first time making cake pops so i definitely learned a couple of things for next time.

Tips:

-fill the holes almost to the brim with cake batter, this helps form a full sphere. (not mushroom caps lol)

-when making the ears and tails make them thicker so they don’t break easily during placement.

-dip the cake pops in the melted candy 2x. Dip it, place on wax paper to harden, then dip it a 2nd time. I noticed with only 1 layer 1. the icing dripped too much creating a puddle underneath it. And 2. the dripping also caused the cake to show through in some spots and the surface.

Regardless I had a lot of fun and they’re delicious. Highly recommend trying it yourself:)
