I'd say they are perfectly fine for casual, short-distance runs, light jogs, or warm-ups. If you're looking for a shoe that transitions seamlessly from a stylish everyday sneaker to something you can comfortably take for a quick 2-3 mile run, then yes, the 1906r can absolutely do the job. They offer good comfort and decent support for low-impact activities. But if you're a serious runner, logging high mileage, training for a marathon, or needing specific performance features like maximal cushioning or aggressive traction for trails, you'll likely want to invest in a dedicated running model. For me, they remain my go-to for stylish comfort and those spontaneous, shorter runs when I don't want to change into 'proper' running gear. They truly are versatile, and honestly, the joy of wearing something so aesthetically pleasing that can also handle a light workout is a huge bonus.
