What’s in my altoids wallet
My first post I love y’all ✌️🫶
Okay, seriously, who knew an Altoids tin could be such a game-changer? I recently jumped on the Altoids wallet trend, and it's completely transformed how I carry my absolute essentials. It’s like a tiny, customized survival kit that fits anywhere! You might think it's just a fun craft, but once you start filling one, you'll realize how incredibly practical it is. For my everyday carry (EDC), I've packed mine with a few non-negotiables. First up, Bandaids – because you never know when a little cut or blister will strike. Having a couple of these in there has saved my day more times than I can count! Then there's my mini beauty kit: a tiny Mascara and a trusty lipgloss or a Mini lipstick for those quick touch-ups. They're perfect for feeling put-together in seconds, whether I'm heading to a meeting or just grabbing coffee. Hygiene is also key, so a small pack of Sanitation wipes is a must. Sticky hands? Dirty surface? Problem solved! And of course, a little bit of Money – always good to have a few emergency bills or coins for those cash-only moments when cards aren't an option. Practicality meets personal style with a Hair tie and ring. A hair tie is a lifesaver on a windy day or when you need to focus, and a small ring, maybe a sentimental one or just a spare accessory, can be a nice touch. I also love adding a small, personal Trinket or two – perhaps a lucky charm or a tiny keepsake. It just makes it uniquely mine and brings a smile to my face. Lastly, a Key (maybe a spare or just my main one if I'm traveling light) and some gum for fresh breath are absolute must-haves. Now, beyond my personal setup, the possibilities for what to put in an Altoids wallet are endless! If you're looking to create your own mini kit, consider these ideas: a miniature sewing kit with a needle, thread, and a safety pin for wardrobe emergencies; a few pain relievers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen; a tiny flashlight for navigating dark spaces; or even a small SD card or USB drive for digital backups on the go. Dental floss picks are another brilliant addition for after-meal freshness, and folding nail clippers can save you from a snagged nail disaster. Some people even pack a few tea bags for a quick pick-me-up or a tightly folded phone charging cable for emergencies. When it comes to organizing your Altoids wallet, a few tricks can help. Use small ziplock bags for pills or liquids to prevent spills. You can even wrap coins in tape to keep them from rattling around. If you're really getting creative, consider adding magnetic strips inside for tiny metal items like safety pins or paper clips to keep them secure. The best part is customizing it to your own needs and seeing how much functionality you can pack into such a small space! It's super satisfying and makes life's little inconveniences feel a lot more manageable.
