My week has been crazy…

I was at work the other night and noticed a backache that was uncomfortable but I marched on anyway. Tried to lay down and go to sleep and the pain in my back became unbearable it also was in my stomach. Both on the right side. I had hardly any sleep no relief I didn’t know what was going on. I had a job to do yesterday so I marched on… very slowly. It was more of a hobble. Got the whole house cleaned and I was so cold the entire time it was bizarre. I had to go sit outside for 30 minutes to just warm up. As soon as I left I went straight into urgent care because the pain was intensifying and I was becoming disoriented. It took me 3 times to find an urgent care I have know the location of forever?

So the fun bits. Kidney infection with possible stones they can’t tell. No permanent damage which is good. And I have 💩 backed up to my ribs. Heart issues that need me to go to a doctor for a monitor to wear all the time yay. They gave me an iv right away, toroidal for pain, took my blood, an antibiotic shot to the hip and a script of Bactrim for the week.

Fever of 102 last night. Finally found my Tylenol since I can’t take ibuprofen right now (it’s bad for your kidneys in case you didn’t know) and that helped break it thank god

Today was the day I had to drink those god forsaken things. So sour I cannot even describe it gave me goosebumps.

The porcelain throne is my master, I cannot spend more than 5 minutes from it.

Have to drink 7 liters of water a day until I’m better and I’m barely through my first 32 oz.

I lost my health insurance recently and this is all pretty disheartening, but I just have to keep on keepin on right.

🩷 thanks for reading my vent

It's essential to recognize the signs, which often include fever, fatigue, and changes in urination. Kidney stones may also exacerbate discomfort. Consider drinking ample water to help flush out the kidneys and reduce symptoms. Over-the-counter pain medications might not always be suitable, as seen with my ibuprofen restriction due to kidney concerns. Therefore, consulting a healthcare provider promptly is vital, especially if there are insurance challenges. Resources such as community health centers can offer assistance. Remember, self-care matters; prioritize rest, maintain hydration, and seek support when needed. If experiencing similar issues, don't hesitate to reach out to health professionals. Embracing vulnerability during such times is part of the healing process.
