... Read moreIf you're immersing yourself in thrillers like The Inmate and That's Not My Name, you might want to explore more gripping stories by authors like Frieda McFadden, who masterfully combines suspense with complex characters. Frieda's novels, such as The Teacher and The Housemaid, have become popular New York Times bestsellers, known for their intense psychological twists and unpredictable plots. These books delve into themes of identity, trust, and survival in hauntingly relatable settings. For readers who find That’s Not My Name a bit slow at first, it's worth noting that many psychological thrillers build tension gradually, unraveling secrets layer by layer. This storytelling approach can heighten the eventual payoff, making the climax all the more thrilling. If you prefer faster-paced reads, consider adding titles like "She Was Wrong" or "The New York Times Bestselling" thrillers recognized for their brisk narratives and relentless suspense. To expand your thriller collection, you might also explore works by other acclaimed authors in this genre, such as Gillian Flynn, known for dark psychological suspense, or Tana French, who crafts rich, atmospheric mysteries. Online book forums and communities tagged with #thrillerbooks and #bookrecommendations can be great sources to discover new releases and hidden gems. Remember, reading is a personal experience, so don't hesitate to sample a few pages before committing. The perfect thriller not only challenges you but also keeps you hooked until the very last page. Happy reading on your monthly book challenge!

That’s for sharing. I just finished The Surrogate Mother by Freida McFadden. In my opinion it was a good read.

I’ve read the Inmate and One by One … both were great books. Never heard of That’s not my name. How was that book? Did you enjoy it?
