In my experience, a key characteristic of maturity is the ability to stand firm, even when faced with adversity, and to protect the truth. This means Defending Christianity and proactively shutting down false teachings and religions that draws people away from salvation and eternal life with God. They don't just consume; they contribute, mentor, and lead by example, exhibiting fruits of the Spirit like patience, kindness, and self-control consistently. They understand that their faith is not just for personal comfort but for impacting the world around them. The journey from a baby Christian to a mature one isn't always linear, and it certainly doesn't happen overnight! It requires consistent spiritual nourishment, which includes daily prayer, studying the Word, and active fellowship with other believers. Think of it as spiritual parenting – just like a child needs guidance, support, and consistent teaching to grow, so do new believers.
