Make a gift basket for a guy I’m not even dating 😭

At least it kept me busy #giftbasket #basketforhim #Lemon8Diary

For the top row I’m gonna go grab Cinnabon the day he’s coming to pick up the gift. It’ll go with the color scheme.

Sometimes, those 'thinking of you' baskets mean the most because they come out of the blue, showing genuine thought without the pressure of a specific occasion. Forget the pressure of birthdays or holidays! A 'thinking of you' gift basket is perfect for cheering someone up, celebrating a small win, or just letting them know you care. It doesn't have to be romantic, but it can certainly hint at something more if that's what you're going for! It's all about showing you put genuine thought into it, which makes any gift feel extra special. When I was putting together my basket, the first thing I focused on was the base. Starting with a sturdy gray plastic basket like mine is key. Then, thinking about how to build height and display items, a white wire rack can be a game-changer – it's like adding extra shelves! I even used blue velvet strips with Velcro to keep things secure and add a pop of color, making sure everything stayed in place on the *bottom floor*. Beyond just *favorite candies*, think about a theme. Is he into self-care? A protection candle is a unique touch. Does he love snacks? A mug with snacks is always a hit. Don't forget the fun stuff like a mini trash bin of lollies or a case of kisses for a playful vibe. I also included a white, glittery wrapped item (a shirt!) which added a nice surprise and a bit of sparkle to the setup. Personal touches truly elevate any gift. A pending photo print or a small framed picture makes it truly personal and memorable. And for the card? An unassuming card with a simple 'Thinking of you' written inside, maybe with a cute *cartoon angel*, keeps it light and sweet, avoiding any awkwardness if you're navigating that 'not dating' territory. It’s about being thoughtful, not over-the-top. Even if you're not doing a raffle, thinking like you are can make your gift basket extra appealing. How would you make someone want to win this? Presentation is everything! Layers of *tissue paper*, a *mini balloon*, and a beautiful blue ribbon can transform a simple collection of items into a stunning display. Think about variety – a mix of practical, fun, and indulgent items within the *clear containers*. What would make you excited to receive it? It's always a bit nerve-wracking putting yourself out there with a thoughtful gesture, especially when the relationship status is undefined. But honestly, the joy of giving and seeing someone appreciate your effort is worth it. Plus, it kept me busy, and who doesn't love a good DIY project? What are your go-to items for a 'thinking of you' basket? Share your ideas!

So I made a guy this basket. I will never do it again unless he is my man and we have established a relationship. 1. He never came to pick it up. The more I asked if I could drop it off. The more he would have something to do. So two weeks ago I was like it been a month and I gave the gift to my brothers. Lesson learned only do for someone who will do for me.
