You know that feeling when you create characters you just completely fall in love with? That's Caelumi for me – my epic lesbian OC ship, and I'm so thrilled to finally share them with you all! Creating lesbian OCs gives me such a unique space to explore lesbian romance in ways that truly resonate. It's about crafting rich backstories and personalities that you don't always see everywhere. For Caelumi, it was about capturing that deep, undeniable connection between two souls. The art itself was such a journey! I meticulously crafted these two anthropomorphic cat-like characters, imagining their unique personalities. The brown one, with its edgy studded collar, felt like the perfect contrast to the white/grey character's elegant gold collar and practical shoulder bag. Capturing their affectionate pose against that dreamy purple background, with those striking blue eyes and little floating hearts, was key to conveying their deep connection. Every detail, from their expressions to the vibrant colors, was chosen to reflect their love. It's more than just drawing; it's about giving life to these characters and their love story through lesbian OC art. Seeing them come to life on the canvas, especially in such a tender moment, makes my heart sing. It's my way of adding more beautiful, diverse representation to the world, and honestly, it’s incredibly empowering. When designing OCs, I always think about how unique each character can be. Embracing different body types and styles, like a curvy character or a more slender one, adds so much depth and realism. It's about celebrating every facet of identity. It’s wonderful to see more queer characters in media these days, and creating my own lesbian OCs lets me contribute to that vibrant tapestry. When I see amazing queer representation, whether it's in a show or another artist's work, I get that little 'lesbian panic' flutter – that rush of excitement and recognition! It reminds me why creating inclusive stories, including those featuring transbian characters or other diverse identities, is so important. Everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in epic love stories.
