We have the most precious Boykin Spaniel, the kind of dog breed that once you meet one, you’ll dream of getting 3 more! Our hyper, snuggly, emotional pup has had the WORST luck during his early years, but he’s the most resilient dog.
As just a newborn, his mom accidentally bit the artery in his neck, so he had to have major life-saving surgery that most dogs (let alone a puppy), may not have survived. Then, she nipped his ear to try and get some space, but unfortunately nipped too hard, leaving our Beau with only 1 ear. His 1 ear is just a personality statement for him, but it’s also left him with chronic ear infections for years. But by looking at those puppy dogs eyes, you would literally NEVER know.
