My Weightloss
In the first and third picture, believe it or not I weighed about 180-182lbs. I am now 172lbs. 🥰Ten pounds down! 😁I am so exciting looking at myself and finally seeing the progress. In the last three years I hit a weight I’ve never seen myself as before. I would lose weight then gain it all back again. It was so fustrating. Finally the ending of last year and into this year I have been focusing on my calorie intake. I finally buckled down and got started. I watch how much my portion size is and how much I eat. I’m a snacker! I like my snacks when I don’t want to make a meal. So I still treat myself with snacks and my favorite is dark chocolates🤭 but I’ve cut back so much! It’s more as a treat to myself at this point instead of snacking just to snack. If that makes sense. I do about 1,700 calories a day or less. Depending. Overall I’m just so grateful to see a difference and I’m continuing until I get to my goal. #keepupthegrind #weightlossglowup #weightlosstransformationinprogress #weightlossjourneys #bodytransformation
Losing weight can often feel like an uphill battle, but every small victory counts! Noticing changes in our bodies is incredibly rewarding, especially when we focus on sustainable methods. Monitoring calorie intake is key; experts suggest aiming for around 1,500-1,800 calories for gradual weight loss, depending on activity level. Portion control is vital—using smaller plates or measuring food can help. Also, shifting the mindset from depriving oneself to treating snacks as occasional delights can balance cravings. Incorporating dark chocolate, for instance, retains the joy of snacking without derailing progress. Additionally, focusing on positive affirmations and celebrating milestones helps maintain motivation. Don't forget, it's also important to stay hydrated and consider incorporating regular physical activity, such as walking or workouts, to complement dietary efforts. Finally, sharing your journey, like through hashtags #weightlossjourneys and #bodytransformation, creates community and support, essential for staying committed to your goals.
