Are you working like a fireman?
Morning, put out a pile of fire.
There's another urgent story.
I didn't have to do my job in the afternoon. I had to run to put out a new fire.
After work... you're so tired you don't want to do anything anymore.
But ask yourself,
You've done a lot of work today.
So what's really progressing your life?
We may be busy all day.
But busyness doesn't mean we're moving forward.
Because urgent things are always louder than important things.
Customers call at near-scheduled tasks, messages to answer, problems thrown by people.
Everything immediately demanded our attention.
While the matter really matters, it's very quiet.
Future Planning
Skill development
Health care
Building a business
Financial management
Or even spending time with the people we love.
These rarely yell at us.
But if we don't do it today, one day it can become a big problem to solve.
Let's try the event with these four channels.
1.Quick + important = act immediately
Such as crises that must be solved, tasks that are due today, or problems that are left behind will be damaged.
2.Express + No matter = Reduce time or assign
Such as being plagued by trivial things that others can handle, answering every message immediately, or meeting that we do not need to attend.
Before you do it, ask, "Do you have to be me and do it now?"
3. No Express + Important = Must reserve time to do
This is the channel that makes the most change in life.
Such as learning something new, planning money, exercising, building a job system, or completing a desired project.
Don't wait for free time, because most free time is always replaced by urgent matters.
4.Not Express + Not Important = Reduce or Undo
For example, plowing a screen without a point, or an activity that lasts but does not improve life.
You don't have to give up everything you do for happiness, just tell off what it takes to rest and what it takes to leave time unconscious.
So how to start?
Tomorrow, before you open the chat or start taking jobs from anyone, give yourself 10 minutes.
Write down all the things to do and choose one that is important to your future, but not urgent.
Then book a time for it for at least 30 minutes.
Finish that story before the chaos of the day begins.
You can't extinguish every fire in one day.
But you're creating a life that's less and less likely to fire.
Remember... successful people are not just good at solving problems, but good at doing important things before they become problems.
Today you are building the future.
Or just putting out other people's fires every day?
