I dropped my smartphone in Kamakura, but I was impressed by the kindness of Japan!
I went to Kamakura today.
While enjoying sightseeing, I dropped my smartphone at Kamakura station.
From the experience of traveling around the world so far, it is not uncommon for my smartphone to be stolen, and I think that I have no choice but to give up in such a case.
But today was different.
Someone immediately picked up the dropped smartphone and delivered it to the station staff.
At that moment, I realized anew the safety of Japan and the kindness of the people.
I think Japan is the safest country in the world and I really love the compassion of the Japanese people.
Thank you very much to the person who picked it up and the station staff who delivered it.
I sincerely appreciate it.

鎌倉でスマホを落としてしまったものの、すぐに親切な方が拾って駅員さんに届けてくれたという経験は、日本ならではの安全な社会環境と人々の思いやりを改めて感じさせてくれます。私自身も旅先で貴重品をなくすことを恐れていましたが、日本のように公共の場でのルールやマナーがしっかりしていて、かつ人々が親切であることは、安心して観光できる大きな要素だと実感しています。 また、鎌倉駅ではコインロッカーが多く設置されていますが（OCRに「6 コインロッカー」の表記が見られます）、これらの利用方法や安全性も高いです。観光客が増えるなか、こうした施設の整備と利用者のルール遵守が、全体の安全維持に大きく貢献しています。自分の経験を通じて思うのは、こうした社会環境の良さを守るためには、地元の方だけでなく訪問者もゴミのポイ捨てなどマナーを守る意識が必要だということです。 私も旅先で出会う人の優しさや地域の安全性は、旅行の楽しみを何倍にもしてくれる要素だと感じています。特に鎌倉は歴史と自然が豊かで美しい街なので、訪れるたびに人の温かさを感じながら過ごせる場所です。今回のような経験を通して、改めて日本の社会が持つ心の温かさや安心感のありがたみを実感しました。もし鎌倉や日本を旅行する方がいれば、このような優しい人々との出会いも楽しみにしてほしいと思いますし、自分も訪れた土地を大切にしていきたいと強く思っています。
