It’s definitely different from your standard Battle Royale, and figuring out the best gear can make all the difference between an early exit and a sweet 'ENEMY TEAM WIPED!' victory. For those new to it, Fortnite Reload is a super-fast, action-packed mode on a condensed map. It's all about non-stop fights and quick respawns, which totally changes how you approach looting. Unlike the main modes, you're constantly in the thick of it, so every piece of gear counts. The 'STORM EYE SHRINKING' comes in fast, so no time for leisurely exploration! Shotguns, of course, are king in those tight building fights. I've noticed a good mix of rarities, but getting your hands on epic or legendary versions of your preferred weapon really boosts your chances. Don't forget about utility items like grenades – they can be game-changers! Healing and shields are plentiful, but you'll burn through them quickly. Keep an eye out for Mini Shields, Big Pots, and Med-Kits. Chug Splashes are gold for quick team heals. Because you're constantly fighting, effective shielding is even more important to survive those intense skirmishes and prevent getting 'ELIMINATED' prematurely. Always carry at least two forms of healing if you can! Mobility items are also super valuable in Reload. Shockwave Grenades are fantastic for escaping danger or pushing opponents, and any movement item can help you stay ahead of the rapid 'STORM EYE.' And for all you 'CROWN SPREE' enthusiasts out there, don't forget that wearing a crown puts a target on your back, but also often means you’ve already got some good loot by eliminating a high-value target. Securing those 'CROWN SPREE' eliminations is super rewarding, not just for the XP but for taking their gear! My personal tip for the Reload loot pool is to prioritize finding a reliable AR, an SMG, and a shotgun as quickly as possible. Don't spend too much time looting a single area; grab what you need and get into the action. You'll often find better loot by winning fights and taking it from 'KNOCKED' or 'ELIMINATED' opponents. Remember, the goal is to be the last one standing after wiping the 'ENEMY TEAM WIPED!' So, gear up fast, play aggressive, and good luck out there!
