Ever wanted to make your same coffee... but more aesthetic?? I made one for my husband and it turned out great!
👇 Follow the directions below!!👇
(1) add your syrup (I used maple syrup for mine)
(2) add an espresso shot or 2
🔔** this step is IMPORTANT **🔔
Make sure you have a small volume shot (this can be customized in your espresso machine) so you get the same amount of espresso but in a smaller amount (volume)
(3) add in some ice cubes (to your desired amount)
(4) add in the milk (whole milk and oat milk will work best because they are creamier and will give you a better color... and taste if you ask my opinion 😉)
🤍ENJOY🤍
Hey coffee lovers! So you've mastered the basic steps for a delicious aesthetic iced coffee, but want to take it to the next level and truly make it 'bien bonito'? I hear you! I've been experimenting with my own homemade aesthetic coffees, and let me tell you, there's an art to making them look as good as they taste. It's all about those little details that transform a simple drink into a visual treat, perfect for your morning routine or impressing guests. One of the biggest secrets to that stunning layered look, which the original recipe touches on, is how you pour. After your syrup and espresso are in (remember to use that small volume shot from your espresso machine!), gently add your ice. Then comes the magic: pour your milk slowly over the back of a spoon, letting it hit the ice first. This gentle flow helps the milk settle on top of the denser espresso, creating those beautiful, distinct layers. I've found that whole milk or a creamier oat milk works wonders for this, giving you that lovely color contrast. I often use my favorite clear 'GROOM' branded glasses for this, as seeing the layers is half the fun! Beyond the pour, presentation is key. Think about your glassware – a tall, clear glass really showcases your creation. And don't forget the garnishes! A simple sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder can add a touch of elegance. For summery vibes, a fresh mint sprig or a few berries on a skewer can elevate the look instantly. You could even drizzle a tiny bit of extra maple syrup around the rim for a gourmet touch. Want to experiment with colors and flavors to make your aesthetic coffee uniquely 'bien bonito'? Try different syrups! Caramel or chocolate syrup will give you a darker, richer bottom layer, while a fruity syrup like raspberry could introduce a fun pop of color. For a lighter, more ethereal look, consider using a cold brew concentrate instead of hot espresso – it often has a slightly different density that can create interesting layers. And if you're feeling adventurous, a dash of food-grade coloring in your milk (just a tiny drop!) can create pastel-colored layers for a truly unique aesthetic. I once made a lavender-infused iced latte that looked absolutely stunning with a hint of purple milk! Ultimately, making an aesthetic coffee is about enjoying the process as much as the drink itself. Don't be afraid to play around with ingredients and techniques. Each time you make one, you'll discover new ways to perfect your craft and create a truly 'bien bonito' beverage that feels special. Happy brewing!
