This meal on yesterday was a 11/10

I did my ribs in the oven on 300 degrees, for 3hrs and after it was done I added barbecue sauce. I feel like I could have left it in the oven for 2 hours to make it more tender!

I added sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder to my pork n beans, they were delicious 🤤

The low and slow method helps break down the connective tissues, resulting in tender ribs that practically melt in your mouth. To enhance tenderness even further, some cooks recommend starting with 2 hours of cooking before applying barbecue sauce, then returning the ribs to the oven for an additional hour or so. This allows the sauce to caramelize while keeping the meat moist. When choosing boneless country style ribs, note that they are cut from the pork loin and do not have bones, making them easier to eat but still rich in flavor. The packaging may sometimes show freshness dates and product information, such as “Pork Loin Boneless Costillas de Lomo de Puerco” as well as weight and price per pound, so always select fresh cuts for the best taste. Complement your ribs with classic pork & beans, which can be elevated by mixing in sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder. These additions create a balance of sweetness, oniony aroma, and garlic’s savory depth, turning a simple side dish into a delicious accompaniment. Tomato sauce–based pork & beans are a great match for barbecue dishes, as they provide contrast in texture and flavors. This meal makes a perfect lunch or dinner option, especially when you’re aiming for comfort food with a homemade touch. For an extra twist, consider experimenting with different barbecue sauces—smoky, sweet, or spicy—to match your flavor preference. Also, serving with cornbread or coleslaw adds freshness and variety to this hearty plate. Remember to let ribs rest a few minutes after taking them out of the oven before slicing or serving. This helps retain juices and improves overall taste. By following these tips and seasoning ideas, you can enjoy a 11/10 meal that’s sure to become a family favorite.
