Oh my goodness, you guys, this year's Christmas tree adventure has been extra special! As I mentioned, my wonderful grandma always insisted on a real tree, a tradition I cherish and keep alive every single year. But this time, I decided to put a delightful twist on it: a complete "Pinkmas" transformation! It’s truly a very pink Christmas in my home, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Finding that perfect real tree was quite the quest this year, I won't lie. I visited a few nurseries and even some pop-up lots before I finally found the one – a beautifully shaped fir that just called my name. Once it was home, the real fun began: bringing my pink vision to life. For anyone dreaming of their own "very pink Christmas," let me share a few tips I picked up along the way. First, consider your shades of pink! I personally love a mix of soft blush, rose gold, and a few pops of a brighter fuchsia to keep things vibrant. It prevents the tree from looking too monochromatic and adds depth. I started by stringing warm white lights, which give a lovely glow that complements the pink beautifully. Then came the ornaments. I believe in layers! I began with larger, matte pink baubles as a base, scattering them evenly. Then, I added smaller, glittery pink and rose gold ornaments to catch the light. This whole process, from the hunt for the tree to meticulously placing each pink ornament, has been such a joyful experience. It’s a wonderful way to remember my grandma and her love for real trees, while also expressing my own festive style.
