7 Things I learned about Thanksgiving

1. You can’t wait for things to be fine all the time to give God thanks. You better learn how to praise God when things aren’t going well.

2. Don’t look at others who aren’t giving God praise. Fix your eyes on God and what he has done for you.

3. In the Kingdom of God, when praise is due sophistication is out the window. #carefree

4. If you’re always looking at how people will view you because you’re giving God thanks then you are people- focus, not God conscious.

5. Thanksgiving isn’t seasonal..

6. Jesus acknowledges when we give thanks! Luke 17: 17-18. Jesus asked, “ Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” He who sits in Heaven takes notes.

7. Some people know how to cry before God, but not rejoice.

NOTHING about Thanksgiving and rejoicing before God is childish.
