Westlake Need List w Prices pt 2
Just wrapped up another fantastic shopping trip to Westlake, and I'm so excited to share my latest finds that are perfect for sprucing up our homes and gardens! This is part two of my Westlake need list, and I focused heavily on bringing nature closer and getting a head start on my spring planting. First up, I found some incredible Audubon window bird feeders. These are such a game-changer! The ones I picked up come with strong suction cups, making them super easy to attach directly to your window. They even have a handy jelly dish and a fruit holder, which is perfect for attracting a wider variety of birds right to your view. I love watching the little feathered friends up close while I'm having my morning coffee. You can find both packaged and unpackaged clear plastic feeders, giving you options. To complement these, I also grabbed a few Perky-Pet hummingbird feeders. If you’ve never had hummingbirds in your garden, you’re missing out! With a cute Perky-Pet Beaded Copper Hummingbird Perch hung nearby, these vibrant feeders really draw them in. Moving over to my other passion – gardening! I stocked up on Ferry-Morse Seed Starting Pellets. These are fantastic because they use coconut coir pellets, which are sustainable and promote healthy root growth. The packaging highlights their "zero-transplant shock" feature, a dream come true for anyone who's struggled with moving seedlings. I also picked up some larger Ferry-Morse Seed Starting Kits. They have these awesome 72-cell mini-greenhouses with clear domes and multi-pot inserts, making it incredibly easy to start a variety of flowers, vegetables, and herbs. There were also biodegradable 50-cup seed starting cups, perfect for a quick, no-fuss start. The kits with 36 pellets are great for getting a good batch going. Now, while my current passion is nurturing my garden and watching the birds from my new window bird feeder, a trip to Westlake always gets me thinking about other fun things to do in the area. After ticking off items from my shopping list, I often look for ways to extend the enjoyment. For instance, I’ve been eyeing some local amusement & theme park options for a dose of adrenaline this summer. For those who consider themselves Texas thrill seekers, finding the best rides and attractions is always a priority, and it's great to know what's available nearby after a productive shopping spree. And when hunger strikes after all that shopping or dreaming of adventures, knowing good dining spots is key! I've been meaning to check out Firebirds locations for a delicious meal – great for a treat after getting my garden supplies sorted. For something on the sweeter side, especially as the weather warms up, finding nearby Pelican SnoBalls locations is a must! There's nothing quite like a refreshing snoball to cool down after a busy day or a fun outing. Keeping an eye on the "cost" helps ensure I can enjoy all these experiences without breaking the bank. Whether it's finding the best value on my Westlake purchases or planning budget-friendly outings to an amusement park or dinner, it's all about smart planning. So, happy shopping and happy exploring, everyone! I hope my Westlake finds inspire your next home and garden project, and maybe even a fun adventure or two in your area.
