Always Late? Here’s an Easy Morning Routine ⏰😴

I’m always late. 🫣 I love being at home in the bed lol. If you’re a homebody like me and you hit snooze one too many times so now you're rushing to get ready in the morning. Don’t worry, I got you covered with a quick morning routine for those days when time is not on your side.

🌸 First things first, prioritize. Focus on the things that are necessary - brushing your teeth, washing your face, and putting on deodorant. Trust me, nobody wants to smell your morning breath.

🌸 Next, throw on some makeup if you want, I don’t I just grab my lip gloss. But, if you do just keep it simple. A little concealer, mascara, and lip balm can go a long way. And if you're really pressed for time, just throw on some sunglasses and call it a day.

🌸 Lastly, don't forget to grab a quick breakfast on the go. A greek yogurt and fruit can give you the energy boost you need to conquer the day. And thank God for making you so cute 🥰 Now you’re ready to conquer the day like a boss lady. And don't be late tomorrow. 😂

P.s. Thank you for over 400 Flowers 🌸 that’s what I call my followers 💗 over here we believe in self-care and prayer. Follow now and tell me something about yourself in the comments!

... Read moreOkay, so you've mastered the super-speedy morning routine for those 'I hit snooze too many times' days. But what if we could make mornings even better and less rushed, without adding a ton of extra time? As someone who used to dread alarms, I've picked up a few extra tricks that really make a difference, especially when you're aiming for that 'positive direction' first thing. First off, let's talk about the magic of the night before. Seriously, this is a game-changer! Before you even think about hitting that pillow, spend 5-10 minutes prepping for the next day. Lay out your entire outfit – yes, even socks and accessories! Pick out your bag, make sure your keys are where you can grab them, and even load up your coffee maker. For breakfast, if you're not a Greek yogurt fan, consider overnight oats or chopping fruit for a quick smoothie. This tiny bit of effort means fewer decisions and less scrambling when you're half-asleep. It's all about making your morning routine simple and automatic. Then there's the mindset game. The OCR mentioned 'MINDSET' and 'POSITIVE DIRECTION,' and it's so true! It's not just about what you *do*, but how you feel when you do it. Instead of groaning when your alarm goes off, try a gentle wake-up light or an alarm that plays calming nature sounds. Before you even get out of bed, take three deep breaths. Some days, I even do a quick minute of 'read affirmations' right from my phone – just a couple of positive statements to set a good tone. It shifts your brain from 'ugh, morning' to 'okay, I got this.' This mental preparation is key for busy girls trying to conquer their day. Hydration is another big one. The OCR mentioned 'WATERING,' and while it might sound basic, a glass of water first thing in the morning can really kickstart your body. It helps rehydrate you after hours of sleep and can even boost your metabolism. If you're someone who skips breakfast because you're too rushed, try keeping a fruit bowl or some quick protein bites readily available. Beyond Greek yogurt, consider a quick whole-wheat toast with avocado, or a handful of nuts and a banana. Fueling your 'body' properly, even quickly, makes a huge difference in energy levels throughout the morning. Finally, think about your 'focus' for the day. If you have five minutes, instead of scrolling, maybe jot down 1-3 top priorities in a small 'journal' or planner. This isn't about deep reflection, but just giving yourself a clear path. It helps reduce decision fatigue later. Remember, your morning routine doesn't need to be complicated; it just needs to be simple enough that you'll actually do it consistently. For us 'late girl' types, consistency is everything. By adding these small, intentional steps, you're not just getting ready faster – you're setting yourself up for a much more productive and positive day. Give these a try and see how they transform your mornings!
