💰 Income Criteria and Tax Rates Recent Years
- Net income per year not exceeding 150,000 baht: exempt, not subject to tax, but subject to filing.
- 150,001 - 300,000 Baht: 5% rate
- 300,001 - 500,000 Baht: 10% rate
- 500,001 - 750,000 Baht: 15% rate
- Up to 35% for income above 5 million baht / year
Note: Net income = Full-year income - Expenses - Personal deduction of 60,000 baht / year + other deductions

1. Note: clearly record revenue-expenditure every month / every time revenue is available.
2. Check withholding: Some platforms / stores may deduct 3% or 5% withholding tax - reducing the tax required.
3. Tax filing: Made through RD Smart website / app during Jan - Mar 31 of each year. Submit previous year income
4. If you have a consistent / large income: you may consider registering a commercial or company as appropriate - you can better plan your tax and be reliable.
