Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? Welcoming Nasir J into the world on December 18, 2024, at a healthy 7 pounds 12 ounces has been the most incredible, surreal experience of my life. Holding him for the first time felt like my heart just expanded tenfold. All those months of anticipation, the nursery preparations, the endless baby clothes shopping (his little white onesies are just too cute!), it all culminated in that one perfect moment when I finally met our little guy. His dark curly hair is already so prominent, and I just can't stop staring at his tiny, perfect features. He spends so much time sleeping peacefully on my chest, those moments are pure bliss. I love watching his little face even when his eyes are closed, dreaming those sweet newborn dreams. Every little sigh and stretch just melts my heart. It’s hard to believe how such a tiny human can bring so much joy and love into our home. I've been living in a happy blur, fueled by baby snuggles and caffeine, of course! The first few days have been a whirlwind of emotions and learning. From figuring out diaper changes to mastering the art of the perfect swaddle, every day is a new adventure. I've already discovered that a good supply of those comfy light blue onesies and soft blankets are absolute lifesavers. And let's not forget the endless laundry! Even though sleep is a luxury these days, every single moment with Nasir J is worth it. Seeing him snuggle up, sometimes even wearing his little 'HOODRICH' hoodie (a gift from a friend, so stylish!), just reminds me how truly blessed we are. I'm so excited to share this new chapter with all of you. It's a journey of unconditional love, tiny milestones, and so many firsts. I’m already dreaming of all the memories we'll create with our precious baby Nasir J. Thank you for all your well wishes and love; it means the world to us as we navigate this amazing parenthood adventure. There's nothing quite like the feeling of having a newborn baby in your arms, and I wouldn't trade these moments for anything. I'm learning so much every day about being a parent. One thing I've found incredibly useful is having everything organized – from diapers to feeding supplies – because when you’re running on minimal sleep, every minute counts. Also, don't underestimate the power of a good support system! Whether it's a partner, family, or friends, having people you can lean on makes all the difference. We’re savouring every moment, from his sleepy little snores to his wide-eyed moments of discovery. Nasir J is truly a gift, and we're so excited for his future.
