Western/ boho wedding On a budget

So you want a western wedding? Let me tell you how to do it on a budget!

Idk if anyone looks at how much it actually is to have a wedding before you even get to that step in life, but let me tell you.. it’s a slap in the face! Todays prices for just a venue?! WOW. My advice- shop around first!! Don’t settle. Cheap and pretty venues are out there. You might even have to get creative yourself but it’s possible.

We chose the allandale mansion in Kingsport TN. My family lives in one direction and his live the other, so we decided to meet in the middle! Before choosing this place we knew we wanted a barn. I went to 2 other places looking, they were both over 5k… just for the venue…. How about no😀 I wasn’t paying for it, but I wasn’t putting my family thru the stress of figuring out how they’re gonna pay for it either. So I kept looking. This one was the cheapest, prices are online for what’s included and such, for one day it’s $500 plus damage fees and etc. we ended up doing 2 days so that way we had time to decorate the day before then just show up for the wedding and tear down the next day.

Next for the wedding party, my husband and I don’t have that many friends anyways😅 so we chose to include the people who were most important and close to us. Which consisted of his brother, our best friends, cousin, my cousin, and my sister in law. Totally recommend doing it this way. I would rather spend one of the most important days with people I know will be here by my side forever instead of friends I could lose next week. But to each their own!

For bridesmaids dresses, I got these from SHEIN!! They were all under $25 I believe and amazing quality! None were see through or had to be altered to fit any of my girls. They were beautiful.

A lot of my decor I used from home or family that had what I needed, I borrowed hehe. My Mimi made all my flowers and she did amazing. She’s an amazing crafter/ florist/ pretty much Jack of all trades. She’s great. I showed her my Pinterest board and she made it come to life! She got all of these flowers from a wholesale florist shop and put them together herself. I tagged where a lot of it came from if anything was bought (I hope I did that right, lol!) also be sure to check thrift stores for your decor! I found some really cute things but forgot to bring them for my actual wedding. It was kind of hecktic.

My dress… it came from Facebook marketplace!! Secondhand, but I would rather give something another chance and put it to good use. It was honestly the most luck I’ll ever have bc it fit me like a glove. I just had to have the sleep straps taken in a tad. It was $150!! It was thousands brand new. But if your looking for it or one similar it originally came from white lace and promises in Knoxville tn.

The guys button ups came from Walmart. They’re wrangler brand. I think they were around $50 each? Can’t remember!
