I’m voting for Kamala Harris because I see this election as a critical moment for justice, accountability, and a strong economy. One of the biggest reasons I’m voting Democrat is because of the future of our justice system. Take the case of Marcellus Williams as an example: despite DNA evidence that didn’t match him to the crime, six Supreme Court justices appointed by Republican presidents allowed his execution to proceed. The decision ignored the support of the victim’s family and the prosecutor’s office to commute his sentence. For me, this case highlights the importance of appointing justices who prioritize truth, evidence, and fairness in the justice system.
With the potential for Supreme Court retirements soon, this election could shape our justice system for decades, influencing key areas like racial bias, voting rights, and much more. I want a president who will appoint justices committed to equality and evidence-based decisions. For me, this vote isn’t just about one candidate—it’s about building a fairer society for everyone.
