Okay, so you've seen my video on achieving that epic full beat, right? But I wanted to dive a little deeper into why this look is my absolute favorite and share some extra tips I've picked up along my makeup journey. For me, a 'full beat' isn't just about piling on products; it's about creating a flawless, long-lasting canvas that makes me feel incredibly confident and put-together, especially when I want to make a statement or for special occasions. It’s like a superpower in makeup form! Getting that perfect base is crucial, and it all starts with skin prep. Before I even think about foundation, I make sure my skin is hydrated and primed. That's where products like the Danessa Myricks Glow Serum come in – it gives such a beautiful, luminous base. Then, to really blur any imperfections and create a smooth canvas, the Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm is a total game-changer. It literally fills in pores and fine lines, making everything else sit perfectly. For correction, I swear by a good color corrector. The Morphe Correcting Concealer in Blossom L is fantastic for neutralizing any dark circles or discoloration before going in with foundation. This step is often overlooked, but it makes a huge difference in achieving an even tone without needing a super thick layer of foundation. Speaking of foundation, my current obsession is the Haus Labs Foundation. It provides amazing coverage without feeling heavy, which is key for a full beat that still looks natural. After that, I go in with concealer, and honestly, I often use two! The Too Faced Concealer in Swan is great for brightening under the eyes, while the Huda Beauty Concealer in Coconut Flakes provides a bit more coverage for any blemishes or areas that need extra attention. Blending is everything here – I like to use a damp beauty sponge to really press the product into the skin for a seamless finish. Now, for setting! A full beat needs to last, so powder is your best friend. I usually start with a generous amount of Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder in Pound Cake under my eyes and in my T-zone to bake and prevent creasing. For the rest of my face, I might use the One Size Translucent Powder or even the Fit Me Loose Powder in Fair Light to lightly set everything without looking cakey. The goal is to lock it all in without losing that glow. Next up, adding dimension! Bronzer is essential for bringing warmth back to the face after foundation. The L’Oréal Infallible Powder Bronzer in 350 gives me that perfect sun-kissed look. And for blush, I rotate between a few favorites. The NARS The Multiple Blush in Dolce Vita gives a beautiful, creamy flush, and then I'll often layer a powder blush like the Tower 28 Blush in Malibu Cooler on top for extra staying power and a pop of color. Layering cream and powder products really helps them last all day (or night!). Finally, to truly seal the deal, a good setting spray is non-negotiable. The Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm Setting Spray not only melts all the powders together, making your makeup look like skin, but it also helps extend wear time significantly. My biggest tip for anyone trying a full beat is to blend, blend, blend! Take your time with each step, use light layers, and don't be afraid to experiment with different products until you find what works best for your skin type and desired look. You've got this!
