The size, shape, and distribution of bloodstains can tell investigators so much about the events that transpired. Was there blunt force trauma? A gunshot? What was the direction and angle of impact? This analysis helps reconstruct the scene, providing vital clues that often corroborate or contradict witness testimonies. It’s like piecing together a silent story, one tiny droplet at a time.
