God forbid we get there quickly
Driving slowly and carefully has always been my approach, not just for safety but also because it lets me stay true to myself on the road. I recall moments when friends joked that they never wanted to ride with me if I started racing or speeding, but I was simply being myself—calm and cautious. In today’s fast-paced world, there’s often a pressure to get somewhere as quickly as possible, but I believe that rushing only increases the risk of accidents and stress. Taking the time to drive at a reasonable speed helps me feel more relaxed and in control. Additionally, when I'm driving, I focus on enjoying the journey rather than just the destination. This mindset has helped me develop patience and tolerate common driving frustrations like traffic or slow drivers. Safety is a priority for everyone on the road, and by embracing a slower, more mindful driving style, I contribute to making the roads safer. It’s about balancing being responsible with being authentic. Ultimately, this slow-and-steady approach makes driving an enjoyable and authentic experience, rather than a race to arrive quickly. For me, there's no need to speed when you can take your time and enjoy the ride.
