การเตรียมความพร้อมของศูนย์บรรเทาสาธารณภัยมณฑลทหารบกที่ 45 ไม่ได้จำกัดเพียงการตรวจสอบยุทโธปกรณ์และกำลังพลเท่านั้น แต่ยังรวมถึงการฝึกซ้อมร่วมกับหน่วยงานต่างๆในพื้นที่ เพื่อสร้างความร่วมมือและการสื่อสารที่มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้นเมื่อเกิดเหตุภัยพิบัติจริง ศูนย์บรรเทาสาธารณภัยมทบ.45 มีหน้าที่ครอบคลุมพื้นที่กว้างถึง 19 อำเภอในจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี และ 8 อำเภอในจังหวัดพังงา ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่เสี่ยงต่ออุทกภัยและภัยธรรมชาติต่างๆ เช่น น้ำท่วม ดินโคลนถล่ม หรือพายุ เพื่อให้การดำเนินงานเป็นไปอย่างรวดเร็ว หน่วยงานทหารได้จัดกำลังพล ร่วมกับอุปกรณ์ทันสมัยพร้อมใช้งานในทุกสถานการณ์ โดยเฉพาะการรักษาการสื่อสารกับสำนักงานป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัยจังหวัด รวมทั้งหน่วยงานท้องถิ่นอย่างใกล้ชิด เพื่อประสานงานอย่างราบรื่นและทันเวลา ลดความเสียหายที่อาจเกิดขึ้นกับชีวิตและทรัพย์สินของประชาชนอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ นอกจากนี้ กำลังพลศูนย์บรรเทาสาธารณภัยยังได้รับการฝึกฝนในเทคนิคการปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้น การค้นหาและกู้ภัยในสภาพแวดล้อมที่ยากลำบาก และการใช้อุปกรณ์ช่วยเหลือเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานภาวะฉุกเฉิน อีกทั้งยังมีกิจกรรมอบรมและสัมมนาเพื่ออัพเดทความรู้เกี่ยวกับภัยพิบัติและการจัดการเหตุการณ์ฉุกเฉินอย่างต่อเนื่อง การตรวจเยี่ยมและเน้นย้ำความพร้อมของผู้บัญชาการมณฑลทหารบกที่ 45 ยังส่งเสริมความมั่นใจให้ประชาชนทราบว่ากำลังพลและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องมีความพร้อมเต็มที่ พร้อมเคียงข้างและช่วยเหลือประชาชนในทุกสถานการณ์จริง เพื่อให้ประชาชนในพื้นที่ได้รับความปลอดภัยสูงสุดเมื่อเกิดภัยพิบัติใดๆขึ้น
