Weight gain, not always your fault.

I used to think weight gain was my fault but now I know it was something else entirely.

Back in January 2002 I was done with being & feeling overwhelmed, stressed, depressed, struggling with anxiety & being overweight at 233+ pounds.

I did all the "right things" I got in my movement (exercise) daily, drank more water, changed up my eating at times, had some self-care moments, then I tried something that had started helping so much but then as time went on became temporary to other parts of my health that I wasn't understanding.

It wasn't enough for me anymore... MENTALLY.

In February 2024 I fell down a rabbit hole, dealt with loss of a pregnancy, relationships started to crumble & I became moody, angry, gained all my weight back I got rid of on my last journey & l just got lost within myself the rest of the year.

I was not in a good space.

Fast forward to now I knew something had to change. I've found something that is

not only focused on my gut health but on my mental health just as much. I'm so excited to start feeling better with taking back control over my body including my mind. I cannot wait to get this started & share this new journey with you!

If you could use some help with your mental/ gut health as well & want more details

... Read moreWeight gain can often feel like a personal failure, but the reality is usually much more complex. Factors such as hormonal imbalances, metabolic changes, and even psychological aspects can significantly contribute to weight fluctuations. For many, emotional stressors and mental health challenges play a crucial role in weight management. Recent studies show a strong link between gut health and mental well-being; imbalances can lead to not only physical weight gain but also emotional distress. Incorporating strategies that focus on both gut health and emotional resilience can enhance your weight loss efforts. This may include dietary changes, mindfulness practices, and physical activity that nurtures both body and mind. It's important to remember that healing is a journey and seeking support from health professionals can pave the way to a better understanding of your unique body needs. Engaging in a supportive community can also foster motivation and accountability, encouraging healthier habits. If you find yourself struggling, remember you're not alone. Many are navigating similar paths, and sharing experiences can provide comfort and insight. Embrace this journey as an opportunity to learn and grow, focusing on progress rather than perfection.
