The Fusion House

The Fusion House is our design in Lampang Province. The design of this house is that the owner of a working daughter wants to build a new house as a happy space to live with your parents. We chose a modern tropical style that combines the Japanesque Muji vibe. The interior focuses on minimalist space allocation, simple floaty furniture and the use of natural materials like wood and plaster to create a warm, relaxed atmosphere and swallow the surrounding context naturally.

The ground floor hall area of the house is designed in an open plan way. It freely joins the living room and dining room. It is open with double volume 2nd floor ceilings that make the house feel airy and flexible for all ages. We will focus on the convenience and safety of the elderly by placing the bedrooms on the ground floor on the east side of the house to conveniently connect to the rest area in the middle of the house and the back of the house.

The highlight of this project is the long porch behind the house attached to the dining zone that offers a view of the garden. The natural view of the house is full on both the upper and lower floors. Answer the question of leisure or activity outside. Take a walk to the wind of your parents.

In architecture and comfort management, we plan the building along a long line along the east (from east to west) to reduce direct sunlight collision coming from west and east, reduce heat accumulation in the home, with local wind exposure from south and north, to fully circulate through both the front of the house and the back of the house. In addition, sun visors are designed with rectangular blowhole blocks, which, in addition to effectively filtering out sunlight, create beautiful dimensions of light and shadow, completely reflecting the uniqueness of humid tropical architecture.
