Part Two

Y’all… this quarter was FULL of hard passes, most of which were still mostly full when they were tossed! Here’s Part 2 of my quarterly empties…

(10) Suposed to be a Neutrogena twinkie, but I was unimpressed. DT has much better options, for less!

(11) I searched for these and wanted to love them, but alas they were a fail. Not gentle- actually drying, which is surprising from @dermasil

(12) Got these Olay melt things in the trial/tiny beauty section at Target. They wouldn’t dissolve correctly, so I quit trying after 3x.

(13) Let’s just say it only took me 1 use to see why they clearanced this one out. In the trash you go.

(14) I was terrified the fragrance on this would upset my pH, but this product is amazing. Cannot recommend you buy it strongly enough!

That’s it… come back at the end of June when we do it again!

... Read moreIn the world of beauty and skincare, finding products that deliver results can be a daunting task. This quarter's empties highlight a mix of failures and successes. From Neutrogena's disappointing twinkies to the unexpected gem that made pH concerns a non-issue, this review dives into the nuances of each product in detail. For those still searching for reliable makeup removers, it’s essential to seek out ultra-gentle options that truly cater to sensitive skin. While Dermasil's offerings didn't live up to expectations, alternatives with higher quality ingredients could provide better hydration and care. Olay's melting cleanser also seemed like a promising contender; however, it fell flat in execution, highlighting the importance of functionality in beauty products. If you’re looking to avoid products that may leave your skin feeling dry or stripped, exploring options marked as hypoallergenic could be beneficial. Additionally, keeping track of brands like TRESemmé, which has some strong contenders, can guide your purchasing decisions. This quarterly empty review not only serves as a personal reflection on what works but also aims to assist readers in making informed choices for their beauty routines. Stay tuned for more insights at the next review; new products emerge each season, and with them, new trials await!
