Don’t use your generic resume you use for everyone create a new resume specifically for that job and add in things that, that job is looking for. A good tip is looking at the application of the job and seeing what they write on who they are looking for. This section on the application usually will list skills they are looking for and add the ones you have that they want into your resume
💪🏻 Do volunteer work
Whatever your dream job revolves around do volunteer work that involves what you will be doing at that job. For me I did volunteer work at a dog pound and that helped me land a job as a vet assistant.
👗 Dress to impress
Look FLAWLESS at the interview, get your hair done, do your makeup, and dress very nice!! People really do judge from looks sadly so if you present yourself very clean and well put together they think you are a good worker lol
use any kind of experience you can
For example because I was working with animals I said that I have my own at home that I take care of and have worked with large and aggressive dogs. Use ANYTHING you can to connect it to the job.

Make it very clear you want this job badly and it is your passion or dream to work with them. If you convince them your heart will be in this job they will consider you very much.
