🤍 Post Surgery 🤍

I am two weeks Post Hernia repair. Yay! It still sucks. From the cramps, the swelling, the shooting pains, it's a process to this. Overall this #heating pad is a game changer.

What's the absolute worst part for me? So, I developed a cough and my monthly came at the same time. This caused greater pain. It felt like my incision split open on so many levels.

Overall, I'll be fine. I appreciate the calls/ text. Your girl is a soldier. If you're new, Welcome and don't forget to subscribe. Take care.

During the first few weeks, it’s essential to listen to your body and follow your healthcare provider's recovery plan. Incorporating rest and light activities can promote healing. Pain management is crucial—using tools like heating pads can offer much-needed relief. If you experience unexpected symptoms like increased pain or cough, don’t hesitate to consult a doctor to ensure everything is healing properly. Many patients share similar stories of discomfort and challenges during recovery; connecting with others can be encouraging. Be sure to stay hydrated and focus on nutrition, as a balanced diet can speed up the healing process. Remember, taking care of your mental energy and staying positive is just as important as your physical health during this time.
