My prayer is that anyone who listens to my music feels closer to Him.
As a stay-at-home mom who writes music, I didn’t do this for recognition.. I did it in hopes of paying it forward. By the end of the year, I plan to give back through Destiny’s Gardens, my husband’s business, by contributing proceeds from my music to causes close to our hearts: supporting those affected by cerebral palsy, helping adolescents who need guidance and hope, and serving the homeless communities in Lansing and Traverse City, Michigan.
I came from struggle, but God has always had a plan and a purpose for me ♡
Destiny’s Gardens is my husband’s landscaping business, named after his little sister, Destiny, who lived from 2001 to 2013. She was born with cerebral palsy and never had the chance to walk or run..but she was truly an angel on earth. Her life, though short, was full of meaning, love, and impact. We named the company after her to honor her legacy.
Through creating beautiful gardens, patios, rock walls, and landscapes, we hope to bring beauty where it’s needed most.. Just like Destiny did.
In 2021, I was baptized, and since then God has been gently and faithfully leading me to write. What started as obedience became expression, songs born from prayer, healing, and trust. Every lyric is part of my walk with Him, and I give Him all the glory for where this journey is going.
Releasing this song has been a deeply personal and spiritual experience for me. As a stay-at-home mom, my daily life is centered around my family and faith, which naturally influenced the music I write. Creating songs has become more than just a hobby; it’s a form of prayer and connection that I hope reaches others in a meaningful way. What makes this release even more special is the intention behind it—to give back. Through Destiny’s Gardens, my husband’s landscaping business named to honor his sister who lived with cerebral palsy, we aim to create beauty and hope. By donating proceeds from my music to support cerebral palsy causes, provide help for adolescents needing guidance, and serve homeless communities in Lansing and Traverse City, we are channeling a legacy of love and strength. For anyone who struggles or feels lost, music can be a healing force. I have experienced God’s plan unfold through many challenges, and through songwriting, I express that journey. Each lyric reflects moments of prayer, trust, and healing. It’s my way of paying forward the hope and encouragement I have received, believing that through this music others will feel closer to God and find comfort in their own struggles.
