Strong wind and faith
💨 strong wind and faith.
(For children and youth)
One day, a strong wind swept through the small village. A boy named "Tawan" was walking carrying a little candle to the church. That candle was the only thing to light on the altar this night.
The wind was so strong that the flame shook, almost extinguished many times. The boy hurriedly covered his hand and stooped to walk on. Those who saw said,
> "The sun... the candles are extinguished. Let's go home!"
But he shook his head and answered softly.
> "I promised Jesus to bring this light to the place."
Although the wind was so strong that he almost blew him down, the sun finally reached the church. He put a candle on the altar, a small flame lit up in the darkness, and that warmed everyone in the church to heart.
📖 Bible:
> "My hand has made all this, and all this has happened," says Yahweh, "but this is what I will look at, the humble and contrite in my spirit, and trembling at my words" (Isaiah 66: 2).
💡 Thoughts:
True faith is not measured by how flat the path is, but by how we continue to walk despite the strong winds blowing on us.
