✨ Explanatory Teachings

Honesty is a virtue invisible to the eye, like the roots of a tree underground; others may not see it, but that root is what makes a tree stand firm, not fall in the face of a storm.

Likewise, Christian life in the latter days requires a deep-seated "foundation of faithfulness," not just when viewed, but faithful even without being seen; for God sees all things; he is preparing faithful people to stand firm on the day when the world will face a great test of faithfulness to God's commandments (Revelation 14: 12).

To be honest in such small matters of daily life as speech, money, time, and obedience to God is to rehearse and build deep roots so that when the great trials of the last days come, we will not waver or lean at the pressures of the world.

Honest to words → Not lying, even a small thing.

Be faithful to time → Make good use of time and give to God.

Honest in Finance → Do not take anything that is not ours, faithfully return ten to God.

Faithful to the Law → Stand by the Law, even if friends or society think differently.
