🌊 Boy with a wooden boat. 🚤

It took a boy several days to finish his little wooden boat. He polished the wood, painted it, tied the sails finely. When it was done, he rowed out into the stream, but the waves blew the little boat away, floating away far away. He ran after it but couldn't catch up.

Several days later, he passed an antique shop and saw his wooden boat in the showcase! He remembered the carvings on the hull, and the boy went in and said to the store, "That's my boat. I made it!"

But the owner said, "If you want it back, you only have to pay for it."

The boy went back to collect every penny until he finally bought the boat back, and he hugged it tightly and said softly...

"You're mine twice now, the first because I created you, the second because I redeemed you."

💡 This reminds us of Jesus Christ.

He created us, and when we were lost for sin, he redeemed us with his blood.

📖 "Because God has bought you for a high price, therefore glorify God with your bodies" (1 Corinthians 6: 20).
