Civility is not just humility but the fruit of the Holy Ghost (Galatians 5: 22-23) that shapes our minds to reflect the character of Christ; in the last days, when the world is filled with pride, competition, and boasting, God's people will be separated by a polite and humble life, for this is the mark of those who follow the Lamb, not according to the world (Revelation 14: 4-5).

In the face of criticism or ridicule of belief → answer with politeness instead of controversy.

When in a family or community → Use politeness as a "garment" that warms every relationship.

At work or school → Instead of intimidating others, choose to be polite, because this is a powerful silent witness.

In anticipation of the Second Coming → Civility will make us ready to accept correction and be led by the Spirit.
