Honesty is the foundation of spiritual life in all ages, and in the last days when the world is full of temptation and veering, faithfulness to God and to fellow men is the mark of those who stand on the side of truth; faithfulness is not only a virtue, but also a shield against the mind from wavering along evil or compromise with sin.
The Bible teaches that faithful people are blessed and bring righteousness to themselves, for faithfulness reflects the character of the Creator. He who stands faithful, even in the face of pressure or opposition, has God's encouragement and protection; and in the last days, faithfulness will divide those on God's side from those who turn to falsehood and delusion.
