5 Scripture principles, creating children with good manners and traits pleasing to God
🌿 Good manners are a reflection of the family bred.
"Our words, actions and manners tell not only who we are, but what kind of upbringing we grew out of."
A well-bred man, often expressing himself with courtesy, tenderness, respect, and respect for others; even if no one can see, he still chooses to do what is right, because true etiquette stems not from acting, but from cultivated habits.
The Bible teaches that the upbringing of offspring is not only knowledge, but traits that reflect the character of Christ.
📖 1. Family is the first school of life.
"Proverbs 22: 6.
Train the child in the way he should walk, and when he grows up, he will not leave.
Children learn from what their parents do, rather than what their parents say. If in the home there is love, civility, respect and forgiveness, these things become the foundation of their child's life.
So good manners start from home, not from school or society.
📖 2. Polite speech is the mark of the wise.
"Proverbs 15: 1.
"The sweet answer suppresses anger, but the words harden, provoking anger." "
Well-trained people know how to control their words, not to hurt, not to disrespect, not to be rude, but to use words that encourage and bring peace to others.
A few words can make or break a relationship.
📖 3. Humility is the heart of etiquette.
"Philip, 2: 3-4.
"Don't do anything selfish...But consider others better than yourself, and do not look only at your own benefit, but also at the benefit of others. "
Good manners do not stem from pretending to be polite, but from a heart that is humble, appreciative of others, and ready to honor everyone, no matter how difficult, good, poor or low in rank.
📖 4. Believers should be good role models.
"1 Timothy 4: 12.
"Be an example to the believers in word, conduct, love, faith, and holiness."
Christians do not preach the gospel by word only, but by way of life.
When we have good manners, are honest, gentle, and honor others, people will see Christ through our lives.
📖 5. Everything done should glorify God.
"1 Corinthians 10: 31.
"Therefore, whatever you eat, drink, or do, do all things to glorify God."
Saying "thank you," "sorry," "kindly," punctuality, keeping words, respecting adults, and being kind are all the glory of God in the heart that loves him.
🌾 Important lesson
Good manners are not external adornments, but the fruits of character that God changes internally.
Families that teach their children to fear God, to love their fellow men, to speak well, to do well, and to honor others are creating a legacy that is more valuable than any property.
For good reputation is made by money, but good character is made by training and walking with God.

Before we ask, "Will our child succeed?"
Ask first
"Do our children reflect the character of Christ through manners and lifestyle?"
Because well-mannered people can be admired by humans.
But a man of good manners with a God-fearing heart will receive both trust from the people and blessing from God.
"Proverbs 3: 3-4.
"Let not mercy and faithfulness abandon you...Then you will have good favor and fame in the sight of God and in the eyes of men.

จากประสบการณ์ที่ได้เห็นและเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการปลูกฝังมารยาทดีในครอบครัว คำพูดและนิสัยที่ถูกสร้างตั้งแต่เด็กนั้นมีผลอย่างยิ่งต่อลักษณะนิสัยระยะยาวของลูกหลานจริง ๆ รวมถึงการที่ผู้ปกครองสอนลูกผ่านการแสดงออกในชีวิตประจำวันโดยไม่ต้องพูดมาก เพราะเด็กจะซึมซับสิ่งที่เห็นมากกว่าสิ่งที่ได้ยินเสมอ การมีคำพูดที่สุภาพและแสดงความเคารพต่อผู้อื่นช่วยสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีและบรรยากาศของความรักในครอบครัวได้เป็นอย่างดี และถ้าเราเลือกใช้ถ้อยคำที่อ่อนโยน จะช่วยลดความขัดแย้งและเพิ่มความเข้าใจ ทำให้ลูกได้เรียนรู้วิธีแสดงออกที่เหมาะสมกับสถานการณ์ ในส่วนของความถ่อมใจ การสอนลูกให้เห็นคุณค่าของผู้อื่น และไม่ยึดติดกับตัวเองเป็นเรื่องที่สำคัญมาก เพราะมารยาทที่แท้จริงนั้นเริ่มจากหัวใจซึ่งต้องการเคารพและให้เกียรติกันโดยไม่หวังผลตอบแทน ซึ่งสอนให้เด็กเป็นคนที่พร้อมจะรับฟังและเอาใจใส่ผู้อื่นในทุกสถานการณ์ สิ่งที่ช่วยให้นิสัยดีนั้นยังรวมถึงการเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดี ไม่ว่าจะเป็นพ่อแม่หรือผู้ใหญ่ในครอบครัว เพราะเด็กจะมองและเลียนแบบพฤติกรรมของคนรอบข้างที่ใกล้ชิดที่สุด ดังนั้น การแสดงออกที่มีมารยาทและมีความรักจริงใจจะทำให้เด็กเติบโตเป็นผู้ใหญ่ที่มีนิสัยดีและได้รับความไว้วางใจจากคนอื่น สุดท้าย การกระทำทุกอย่างที่ส่งเสริมมารยาทและความดีล้วนควรถวายเกียรติแด่พระเจ้า การแสดงความขอบคุณ รู้จักขอโทษ และช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นถือเป็นการแสดงออกของความรักที่เชื่อมโยงกับความศรัทธาในพระเจ้าที่เป็นพื้นฐานของนิสัยที่ดีอย่างแท้จริง การอบรมลูกด้วยหลักพระคัมภีร์ที่ว่านี้ ไม่เพียงแต่สร้างนิสัยที่ดีเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นการวางรากฐานชีวิตที่มั่นคงให้ลูกยืนหยัดอย่างมีความหวังและแรงบันดาลใจในพระคริสต์อีกด้วย
