「いそ食堂」の鉄鍋もつ煮定食は、単なる定食以上の体験でした。私も初めて訪れたとき、鉄鍋でグツグツ音を立てながら運ばれてきた料理に心が躍りました。臭みのない新鮮なもつは、噛むほどに旨味が溢れ出し、口の中でとろけるような食感が印象的です。味噌の濃い味付けはしっかりしていながらも、それが決して重く感じさせず、ニラや豆腐とのバランスも完璧。熱々の状態で提供されるので、冬には体の芯から温まるのも嬉しいポイントです。 また、朝早くからの営業は地元の常連さんだけでなく、遠方から来るドライバーや観光客にも人気が高い理由だと実感しました。笠間市の落ち着いた街並みに溶け込むレトロな店内も、どこか懐かしさを誘い、のんびりとした時間を過ごせます。実際に映画のロケ地にも使われているこの空間は、食事だけでなく、訪れる価値のある場所です。 定休日が第1・第3日曜日なので、訪れる際はチェックが必要。私は再訪を決めており、次回は「レバニラ炒め定食」も試してみたいと思っています。鉄鍋で最後まで熱々の状態が続くこのお店の料理は、茨城のグルメを楽しみたい方に心からおすすめです。
