𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐲 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨?

It’s not that she had it easier. She just started, even when it was hard.

I used to scroll past photos like this and think,

“How does she do it?”

✨ Dining out at night with friends

✨ Showing up online

✨ Running a business and still looking vibrant

Meanwhile, I was at home with mum guilt,

Half-asleep, hair in a bun, surviving one milk feed to the next.

But then I realised…

𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 some superwoman.

She probably felt the same way I did.

The only 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞?

She started.

Even when it felt messy.

Even when the timing 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 perfect.

Even when her energy was running on caffeine and hope.

Now I’m on that journey too

Still 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝, still 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, but growing.

Becoming someone my kids can look up to,

and someone I am proud of too.
