3 sick kids. Still showing up as a mum and mentor
Was it easy?
No.
Some days are downright exhausting — especially when all three of my kids fall sick.
My youngest just got discharged recently, and truthfully… it’s been a lot.
But this journey?
It’s been more than just learning business.
I grew.
As a woman.
As a mum.
As someone who now helps other mums believe in themselves again.
And that… feels really, really meaningful.

Being part of a 'local guide program' or a supportive community can be a game-changer for mums navigating challenges like caring for sick kids while growing personally and professionally. From my experience, the hardest days when your children are unwell often push you to find strength and new ways to stay calm and productive. Mentoring other mums has helped me realize that transformation isn't just about business success—it's about evolving as a person and a parent. Taking time for small self-care moments, even during hectic days, can help maintain sanity and clarity. For example, a quick walk, a few deep breaths, or jotting down progress—these minor acts contribute to a thriving mindset amidst chaos. This journey taught me to embrace vulnerability and strength simultaneously. Helping others believe in themselves again felt meaningful, not only because it supports their growth but also because it fuels your own. If your kids are sick and you feel overwhelmed, know that you’re not alone. Engaging with a community of mums and mentors sharing similar experiences can build resilience and open doors to fresh insights. Celebrating small wins, whether in motherhood or mentorship, creates momentum that carries you forward even on tough days. Ultimately, seeing your children healthy and thriving mirrors your own growth as a mum and mentor, making every struggle worthwhile.
