My online business taught me this…

When my kids slowly got into their own little routines, I finally found myself having small pockets of time again those quiet night moments where I could just be me.

Bit by bit, I started doing the things I love again… teaching, meeting people who matter, feeling my glow come back 🌙

But one thing motherhood taught me healing takes time.

And every mum’s timing is different.

It took me 7 months this time to feel like myself again.

With my firstborn, it took almost 2 years.

So if you’re in that in-between season, please don’t rush.

Take your time to heal, mums.

Even if it’s one slow stroll at a time and some days you can only do half of that it’s okay.

As long as you don’t stop healing,

you’re already doing amazing 💛

... Read moreStarting an online business while navigating motherhood isn’t just about financial growth—it’s a journey of personal healing and rediscovery. For many mums, the transition from focusing entirely on their children to finding time for themselves can be challenging yet rewarding. I noticed that creating small pockets of time during quiet nights allowed me to reconnect with my passions like teaching and meeting meaningful people, which reignited my inner light. I found that healing doesn’t happen overnight; it’s a gradual process unique to each mum. While it took me nearly two years to feel like myself after my first child, this second time, healing took around seven months—with the support and flexibility my online business provided, I could tailor my schedule to nurture myself alongside my family. If you’re a hardworking mum feeling overwhelmed, remember it’s okay to take slow and steady steps. Whether it’s a brief walk or dedicating moments to something you love, these actions are vital to regaining your well-being. Your pace matters, and every effort towards self-care is progress. Through my experience, I’ve learned that an online business can encourage growth beyond the monetary—helping mums find confidence, community, and a renewed sense of purpose. For those feeling stuck, know that healing isn’t linear, but each day you move forward is a victory. Keep fostering your glow, and remember you’re doing amazing, no matter the timeline.

39 Years Later… Here’s What Life Finally Taught Me
Happy Birthday to me. 🎂 39 today… and honestly, I’m just grateful. At 20, I thought life was about proving myself to the world. I was pretentious. At 39, I’ve learned that peace, growth, purpose, and genuine happiness matter so much more. Here are 5 life lessons I wish I knew earlier: 1

School Taught Me A Lot — Just Not This
Biggest scam? Thinking “good grades = prepared for life.” Every generation inherits the same syllabus. But real life is an open book exam, and the notes aren’t always shared. That’s why we trade lessons here so the next person doesn’t have to pay as much “tuition” to life. Drop one money less

Nobody taught us this in school.
We grew up believing success meant a stable job and playing it safe. But the world changed. And many of us were never taught how to create income beyond a salary. I started learning digital skills step by step — slowly, imperfectly, but consistently. That decision gave me options I never had

What my mentor taught me about Overcoming Fear
When I first started working on myself and my business, one of the biggest things holding me back wasn’t time, money, or talent. It was fear. Fear of failing. Fear of looking stupid. Fear of “what will people think?” Fear of trying something new in Singapore’s very “play safe” culture. But

There Is No Such Thing As A Free Business.
Everyone wants a “free” business. But let’s be honest — nothing in the real world works that way. You either pay with money… or you pay with time, mistakes, stress, and years of guessing. That’s why I chose a low-overhead digital model. No shop rent. No inventory. No staff. Just skills,
