What if 2 hours could change everything?

I used to work endlessly teaching, juggling, and rushing between lessons until my body said enough.

Both my pregnancies ended in early preterm labour.

It broke me… not just physically, but emotionally too.

Stopping work wasn’t easy. Teaching was my passion.

But at that point, I realised passion means nothing if I lose myself in the process.

So I started small.

I gave myself permission to try something new just 2 hours a day, in between naps, laundry, and caregiving duties

And those quiet 2 hours slowly became the reason I could dream again, breathe again, and be present again.

If 2 hours a day could shift everything for me…

✨ What could it do for you? ✨

... Read moreExperiencing early preterm labor twice was a significant turning point for me, both physically and emotionally. It made me realize how crucial it is to prioritize self-care, especially when caring for little ones. From my personal journey, dedicating just 2 hours each day to myself—whether it was pursuing a new hobby, learning something online, or simply having quiet time—helped me reclaim my identity beyond motherhood and teaching. What made these 2 hours effective was intentionality. I scheduled them around caregiving duties, using moments in between naps and chores as opportunities to nurture my well-being. This small, consistent investment allowed me to regain mental clarity, reduce stress, and rediscover joy in everyday life. If you are a mum or someone balancing demanding roles, I encourage you to experiment with carving out short periods for yourself daily. These moments might seem minimal but could lead to meaningful shifts in your outlook and energy. Whether it’s reading, journaling, pursuing a creative project, or learning an online skill relevant to a new business venture, these 2 hours can unlock new possibilities. Remember, passion doesn’t mean sacrificing your health or happiness. Instead, combining caregiving with self-compassion empowers you to thrive in every role. Reassessing priorities after challenging experiences, like preterm labor, is tough but vital. Setting boundaries and embracing change step-by-step helped me rebuild strength and presence. Ultimately, what 2 hours could do for you depends on what you choose to invest them in—but their power to create space for growth and healing is incredible. I hope my story inspires you to try this simple yet profound shift and witness how it could change your life as it did mine.
