Dan, god, ice cream, ep.2
The faint sobbing was still loud, interspersed with the sound of running water in the bathroom. Mr. Dan sat waiting at the end of the bed, his eyes sharp, frustrated but full of unanswered questions.
The next morning -
"Mr. Dan," the voice of his confidant came into his office, "I went after the gangster last night."
Mr. Dan took his eyes off the "what's up" file.
"Miss Popsicle... signed a real informal loan for a million baht, brutal interest."
Dark eyebrows immediately twitched. "I gave you fifty million to go out and borrow?"
"It's not for personal use," the employee quickly replied. "The evidence of the transfer is clear. The money was transferred to a private hospital to treat heart patients... named Sudarat, the same surname as Miss Rat."
Quiet -
The thick hand holding the pen was almost broken. The heart was heavy when I immediately understood that all that money... ice cream took to help my mother.
"Heh..." wavy lips, cold smiles, "why dare to bow to such low-key gangsters?"
"Mr. Dan, sir -"
"Quiet," the dark voice inserted first. "Don't just let him know I'm following this."
"Arrange the car. Prepare to go to the hospital."
Shortly. Special patient room in a private hospital -
A middle-aged woman in bed moves slowly to see a tall, elegant figure in a black suit step in. The eyes are weak, full of shock and confusion.
"Who are you?" Her voice shook.
Mr. Dan stood against the edge of the bed, his eyes flat but cold. "Dan... the husband of ice cream."
The mother's eyes immediately shook, "Popsicle... does he know that you're here?"
"He doesn't know," replied Mr. Dan in a cold voice. "Are you the reason he went on an informal loan?"
The woman was in tears. "Yes, I was totally wrong. Without me, he wouldn't be in this state... don't be angry with my son."
Mr. Dan stood still, but in his chest, the truth was biting his heart.
Last night... he cursed that person for worthless.
But the truth is, ice cream is putting itself at risk to save my life.
