"Congratulations, Mr. Jedi, about six weeks pregnant."

Thana turned and looked immediately. Eyes widened.

"Pregnant... huh?"

(The doctor nodded and smiled)

"Yes, health and children are very healthy."

When the doctor left, there was only silence in the room.

The Jedi gently raised his hand to his abdomen. "Jay... pregnant. Our baby's back, isn't it?"

Thana walked in, held his hand tight.

"Yeah, this time 🥺 he won't let anyone take away the girl and the baby."

(Tears began to pour out both)

"Thana... J is scared."

"Don't be afraid, Jay. Everything will be different, he promised."

"But, Mom -"

"He'll take care of it. Bee, just take the best care of yourself and your child."

Thana leaned down, gently kissing the back of the Jedi hand.

Thana stood watching in tears as the nurse carried the little child on his chest.

The Jedi smiled softly, "Clay... because it's the basis of our house."

Thanah bent down to kiss the Jedi forehead.
