When vulnerability is the greatest courage.
The Power of Vulnerability
"When vulnerability is the greatest courage."
In a world that shapes us must constantly be "perfect," Perfectionism and "strong." We are often taught that showing weakness is defeat, but
Dr. Brené Brown, a social work researcher, proved that "vulnerability" is not a weakness, but the origin of love, creativity and true happiness.
1. Fragility is not weakness
Most people often mistake vulnerability for lamentation or over-sharing of personal matters, but psychologically, vulnerability means "the courage to appear and allow others to see our true identity," while we have no control over the outcome.
2. The wall is called "Perfection."
When we are afraid of pain or shame, we often build shields. The most common shield is Perfectionism. We try to make everything flawless so that no one can blame us, but it is this shield that prevents us from leaving the world.
Trying to "numb" Numb to negative feelings, such as regret or fear, will result in us being "numb" to positive feelings, such as gratitude and happiness, because we cannot choose to turn off one side of the emotional switch.
3. The power of acceptance of Wholehearted Living identity
Those who live a happy life Wholehearted are not those without scars, but those who believe that "I am good enough." I am enough. They live with 3 guts.
💚 Courage. Guts.
Dare to tell their own stories honestly.
🩵 Compassion. Compassion.
Start by being kind to yourself first and then being able to give compassion to others.
💛 Connection Connection
Give up the image you want others to see to be who you really are.
4. Implementation in real life
How can we turn vulnerability into power?
Accept emotions When you feel scared or nervous, call them straight.
Stop comparing. Perfection is a race that will never win.
Practice gratitude in the most vulnerable moments, seeing a little good will support our hearts.
Disclosing vulnerability does not mean that you are weak, but that you are "brave" enough to transcend fear to build deeper and more meaningful relationships, because in the gap of the crack is where new light and opportunities can come through.
