Disney World Honeymoon
After being married for a month, we finally took our honeymoon in Disney World! Flying from Kansas to Florida was a super easy flight, knowing that we’re going to have the best time.
We started our adventure in Animal Kingdom, where we got to ride a banshee in Pandora, meet Kevin and look at some pretty cute animals. The next day we went to Hollywood Studios, where we got to ride our favorite roller coaster, which was the rockin roller coaster! We also got to meet the live action Ariel which I dreamed of doing!! But the best part about Hollywood Studios was beating my husband in Toy Story land. I’m pretty competitive when it comes to it. We then went to Magic Kingdom and it is as beautiful as ever! Last time I was there was when I was doing the Disney college program in 2017. So a lot has changed and it was exciting to see those changes in person! We then ended our trip at Epcot! This one was my favorite park to go to when I was working there because of all the different foods and drinks you can try from around the world. It was exciting showing him those things. I just love how it’s like traveling the world really fast, you get to see so many cultures and people from those countries being represented really well!
One of the greatest things about our trip that we still talk about now that we’re home where the fireworks! It is absolutely insane how incredible they are!!! Happily Ever After is still one of my favorites and I got to see the new firework show at Epcot. I still like the last one they had a little bit more though, it was called harmonies? Something like that. Let me know when the comments if you can remember the name of that firework show because it was definitely superior.

So many of you asked how we made our Disney World honeymoon such an epic adventure, and honestly, it was all about embracing every moment! Our trip wasn't just a vacation; it was a non-stop journey of discovery and thrill-seeking, packed with unforgettable memories. First off, to truly embody that 'goddess of adventure' spirit at Disney, you absolutely have to hit those big-ticket rides. In Animal Kingdom, soaring on Flight of Passage in Pandora was an otherworldly experience – it truly feels like you're riding a banshee! And don't just rush through for the rides; take time to explore. Spotting Kevin from Up walking around was a fun surprise, and seeing the magnificent floating mountains of Pandora up close felt like stepping into another world. The park itself is an adventure, with hidden pathways and incredible animal encounters. Hollywood Studios was our go-to for pure adrenaline. The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is a must-do for any thrill-seeker, and I still get a kick out of seeing our PhotoPass picture on it! But the real adventure there for me was the friendly competition at Toy Story Mania!. I was so determined to beat my husband, and I did! My secret? Focus on those high-value targets and get a rhythm going. It's such a blast. And meeting the live-action Ariel? That was a dream come true and felt like a mini-adventure in itself! Epcot, for us, was an adventure for the taste buds and the mind. Eating your way around the World Showcase isn't just dining; it's a culinary journey through different cultures, and it’s genuinely exciting! We loved showing each other our favorite spots and trying new things. Keep an eye out for the incredible topiaries during festivals, like the one that reminds me of Te Fiti – they’re works of art and just add to the park's vibrant atmosphere. And of course, Magic Kingdom provided that classic Disney magic. No trip is complete without the fireworks, and Happily Ever After is still a favorite. We also made sure to pick up some matching Mickey sweaters – it makes for the cutest photos and really gets you in the honeymoon spirit! My biggest tip for an adventurous Disney honeymoon? Don't be afraid to try new things, plan a little but leave room for spontaneity, and truly immerse yourselves in each park's unique offerings. Whether it’s conquering roller coasters, exploring different cultures, or simply enjoying the magic with your loved one, every moment is an adventure waiting to happen. Embrace the joy and the unexpected, and you'll have stories to tell for years!
