"The basis of all genres of dance."
We will start with the highest level of dance - the kind that teaches "children to start dancing."
Suitable for practicing body control, listening to rhythm and ensuring movement.
Even as an adult, you can use the same principle, because "the basis of all genres of dance" is the same thing.
🩰 Chapter 1: Know the Body and Rhythm (Body & Rhythm Awareness)
🎯 target.
• Know the body parts used to dance
• Start moving to the rhythm of the music
• Let the body flex out.
🧍♂️ Step 1: Awaken Body Power (Warm-up 5 minutes)
Turn on the music lightly (introduce a slow tempo such as 80-100 bpm)
Then follow this
1. Turn your shoulders forward-backwards 8 times each.
2. Turn your neck slowly, left-right, 4 turns.
3. Raise your arms above your head and stretch your torso to the end. Breathe in.
Then let your arms down. Exhale.
4. Turn your hips in a circle 8 times.
5. Move your legs gently 8 times each.
✅ Tip: Do not force or tense to think that "the body is waking up and dancing."
🕺 Step 2: Listen to the rhythm and knock your feet (Find the Beat)
1. Turn on whatever music you like
2. Knock the right foot to the rhythm "1-2-3-4"
3. Try clapping in rhythm "2" and "4" (will feel more powerful).
4.Practice counting in mind while knocking - "1, 2, 3, 4"
🎵 This is the practice of "musicality" - knowing when to move.
💃 Step 3: Body Isolation
Practice controlling different parts separately - this is the cornerstone of dancers of all genres.
1.Turn the head gently on the left-right side, with the body still.
2.Right shoulder up-down, left shoulder up-down, alternating
3. Push the chest forward-back
4.Hip rocker left-right
5. Try to combine everything according to the rhythm of the song.
✅ Do it slowly and then speed up.
🧠 This is the practice of "muscle memory," let the body automatically remember movements.
💫 Step 4: Free Move Freestyle
1. Turn on songs you like (focus on rhythmic songs such as Pop, Funk, K-pop)
2. Let the body move freely according to the music.
3. Don't think about how beautiful the pose is - just feel like "How the music moves us."
4. After the song, remember which posture you feel as yourself - that is, "your style."
🧘♂️ End: Cool Down (2 minutes)
• Stretch your limbs, take a deep breath.
• Recite in mind: "I am learning my own body."
• Smile and finish training with a good feeling.
