It’s about being absolutely uncompromising and persistent in a situation, making sure you stay ahead or finish what you started with full force. It conveys a sense of power, determination, and sometimes, even ruthlessness, in pushing forward to gain an advantage or ensure victory. This phrase often comes up in contexts of competition, business, or overcoming obstacles where a sustained, forceful effort is required. But for me, as an artist, when I say 'foot on neck,' I’m using it a bit differently – it’s about that intense, all-consuming focus you get when you’re deep into a creative project. It’s the feeling of being so immersed that nothing else matters, pouring every ounce of energy and concentration into making something truly amazing. It's about that personal commitment to excellence, pushing past self-doubt, and refusing to give up until your artistic vision comes to life on the canvas.
